Drew Kirtley
Rev. Drew Kirtley has been the pastor of the First Christian Church of Alva since July 2019. He and his wife Meghan have three daughters, Keely, Kennedy and Kassidy. Drew was born and raised in Tonkawa, Oklahoma and graduated from high school there in 2005. He then went on to attend Northern Oklahoma College where he earned an Associate Degree in Communications. From there, Rev. Kirtley would attend the University of Oklahoma and graduate with a Bachelor Degree in Public Relations. After he spent several summers volunteering at Central Oklahoma Camp as both a church camp counselor and director, Pastor Drew would be called into full-time ministry in 2009, when he began serving as a Youth Minister while attending Phillips Theological Seminary. After graduating with a Master of Divinity Degree, as well as being ordained by the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in 2016, he began serving as a Senior Minister, and was called to First Christian Church of Alva in the summer of 2019.
Pastor Drew and Meghan love spending time with their girls, their families, and friends. They enjoy watching sports, going to the movies, and serving in the church in different ways. They have enjoyed being in Alva and look forward to growing together with this congregation and with God. If you’ve not met Pastor Drew yet, feel free to come by the church and say hello!
